“In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

In SS 2012, 72 Smalldive launched a sundry collection - Back to Basics. This is a ‘perenial’ collection that offers a range of well made colour coordinated sundry items for customers who love to make a impact to their daily ensemble without overt fussing & preening.

For 2013, we have added more models to the convertible wallets. These items are now available in stamped dollarino leather. Stamped or embossed leather is a process to even out the natural grain or shade of the leather and thus making the leather more ‘visually perfect’ and resistant to natural grain folds and stains.

Natural buffed calfskin or dollarino? Both leather comes from the top grain hide thus, there is no difference in the quality. The only difference is the client’s preference - some prefer to have their products age over time, revealing the fold and deeping hues, whilst some prefer a visually perfect surface that hides the grain of the leather product.

This blog is created for our fans, clients, and members of the press.
It is intended to be an online catalogue of our collection since we launched the label.
